R A N D O M   R A N T S THE GLOBAL OPPRESSIVE PARTY Buried in a Republican Relief Package proposal under Donald Trump, were new regulations preventing workers from suing their employees until at least 2024. While on the other hand, business owners can sue their workers at will. This is not only extremely detrimental to workers, it is also extremely unsafe for consumers. One of the main things that holds greedy callous corporate America in check today is the ability of workers and consumers to sue. Take that away and, we have nothing but complete and total corporate dominance and economic slavery to look forward to. One part of economic slavery is that workers over time work longer and longer hours for less and less of a living wage. But there is another part, which is that workers labor in less and less safe working conditions, while consumers have less and less power to hold companies accountable. This is the real ultimate goal of so-called "Reaganomics". The ultimate goal of the Republican Party is to eliminate any and all union representation, benefits and worker safety protections. There was a time in the United States when workers losing an arm or a leg or their lives were just callously replaced by a new worker, without any thought to improving safety, compensation or what would become of their spouse and children. This is precisely the anti-human rights road the Republican Party has been traveling down, long prior to Trump. Note how that "deregulation" for Republicans always means getting rid of laws that protect workers and consumers. Deregulation never means getting rid of laws and regulations preventing workers from suing, preventing unions from forming and forced arbitration, non-disclosure agreements and non-compete clauses. Getting rid of burdensome regulations, long the mantra of the Republican Party, is always a one-way street. Republicans are fully supportive and repeatedly create new regulations when such regulations prevent workers and consumers from having any power to retaliate against corporate greed and avarice. Those who tend to cry loudest over a supposed need to deregulate a so-called "free" market, are the first to create and enforce laws, rules and regulations that help the wealthy, powerful and elite, at the expense of the rest of us. The real goal of the Republican Party is further enriching an international corporations and a wealthy few and, international slavery for the rest of us. The party known as the GOP, is becoming more and more, the Global Oppressive Party, hell-bent on destroying the planetary environment of our children's future, for a few oil, coal and natural gas dollars more.
