TIME
[ country ]

Wake up in the mornin’ to another full day
So much work to do, so many bills to pay
There’s not enough hands in these hours of time
In this fast-pace human race assembly line

Time oh good times, where do you go?
So many fields to plow, many seeds to sow
Like a wild spring flower in an untamed field life fades away
Before it does, wanna take a little time
          Make time pay

There was once a time when time stood still
Had a whole life ahead, plenty of time to kill
But time has it’s own way of gainin’ on us
An' before we learn to live we return to dust

Time oh good times, where do you go?
So many fields to plow, many seeds to sow
Like a wide-open prairie summer sunset life fades away
Before it does, wanna take a little time
          Make time pay

Between sands of time we’re measured in a blink of God’s great eye
But tough times here don’t compare to the pleasure in the sweet bye ‘n bye

Time oh good times, where do you go?
So many fields to plow, many seeds to sow
That deep-down desire to make life matter soon fades to gray
Before it does, wanna take a little time
          Make time pay

Time, oh good times, where do you go?
Time, oh good times, where do you go?

Yeah, before I have to stand up and answer on judgment day
Want’a take a little time, sweet time
          Make time pay
