U.S. STEAL [ a song, rock ] Wheelchair Foundation Please Support what thieves in our nation's Capitol should be doing with our tax dollars Campaign For America's Future Rex Foundation The i. e. America Radio Network The Hightower Lowdown DEDICATED TO: Radio commentator and Washington D.C.'s number one pain in the backside Jim Hightower, author of Thieves in High Places: They've Stolen Our Country and It's Time To Take It Back, who helps us everyday Americans get the lowdown on how badly We The People are being screwed on any (actually every) given day. Also dedicated to American common people's champion Will Rogers, who would most assuredly never run out of fractious fodder regarding today's gilded crop of corporation-whored political pork-devouring people's pocket picking crooked congressional and administration malfeasant miscreants. There are quite literally not enough negative adjectives in the entire Unabridged Oxford English Dictionary to adequately define the unprecedented Benedict Arnold patronizing utterly corrupt criminal proclivities of the vast majority thieves in high office today; these legislators of lobby-pocketed lies do not care about us, they have no concern about our children's future---they don't even care about their own children's future. They are enemies of the Constitution and a growing malignant cancer against any hope for positive progress on the entire planet. They have no ethics, morals, self-respect or common decency and they deserve no respect from us whatsoever. Thomas Paine, Samuel Adams and Company would very, very displeased, to say the very, very least. *FootNote: Some historians and others are now saying it appears that if a massive well-coordinated collective movement among the common masses of We The People does not appear to alter our nation’s perilous direction dramatically, the United States of America will soon become a government where virtually no individual freedom exists and absolutely no dissent of any kind is allowed. And, based on current indications of global warming, ongoing mass pollution, the increasing AIDS epidemic, decreasing natural and food resources and ongoing proliferation of biological, nuclear and worse weapons of mass destruction, this may be the very least of our worries. Regardless of our persuasion and political affiliation, is this really the kind of reality we want our children to inherit? There is no exaggeration here---most unfortunately, there is no need of any. **FootNote II: The author agrees with columnist and author Molly Ivins (it's very hard to disagree with the obvious) that the current energy bill supported by American History's Deficit King in the White House, Lucifer's slippery-side supply the pharmaceutical corporation Republicans and Benedict Arnold's Democrats such as Tom 'Bend-Over-The-Other-Cheek' Daschle (not Ms. Ivins' descriptions, but close enough) is perhaps the very worst economic legislation ever passed in the history of the United States (or maybe even the entire planet). Molly Ivins recently wrote: "Congratulations! That means you, the users of MTBE-polluted water across the nation, will get to pay for cleaning it up. This is an amazing energy bill because it will not (A) reduce our dependence on foreign oil; (B) provide significant new energy sources; (C) create many jobs; (D) improve the grid system so we won't have more blackouts; (E) promote energy efficiency or conservation; or (F) do anything about global warming. But, it will give at least $20 billion in subsides to fossil fuel companies. Those poor li'l oil, gas, coal and nuclear companies like Exxon Mobil and General Electric need our help. This is compassionate conservatism."
