VIDEOS THE CONCERT FOR AMERICA BOOKS
Blessed For Rosa Parks, who's coffin lying in state in the Capitol Rotunda in Washington D.C., containing a poor African-American female seamstress born in
the deep South, represents perhaps the very greatest achievement of what is called the "American Experience".
Just Being Me Inspired by Merle Haggard, America's
friend of the common people.
Nowhere We Can Hide Based on the New Testament Revelation: With modern science and the New Testament in agreement more and more these
days, perhaps we should be paying a little more attention to the warning signs of great tragedy to come, who can say for sure? More Information Here
Streets of Music City Dedicated to Bill Burleigh and Charles Strobel; friends of Nashville's homeless citizens.
Sure Been Good to Me Dedicated to actor and comedian Jerry Lewis, for
inspiring the bikers of America to give back and giving us a reason and a purpose; a hand for America's homeless children is a hand for Jerry's Kids
and, if you don't help Jerry's Kids, you ain't worth spit, no shit !
Unknown Soldiers Each December before the holidays, there is an
annual Homeless
Memorial gathering in Nashville, Tennessee and many other American cities, to honor homeless Americans who have died throughout the year,
many of who otherwise have no funeral ceremony. While a homeless man found lying frozen to death on a Nashville church's front steps made local news headlines for a while, the
homeless of Music City continue to be largely ignored by city powers that be, when not otherwise being harassed, jailed for being poor and having their meager belongings bulldozed into oblivion.
What it is to Live Don't feel bad if you have trouble understanding what is really true about grace, mercy,
love, peace and freedom. No one else on earth understands very well either; for now we understand "in part" I Corinthians Ch. 13. The idea, unlike priests, preachers, self-help gurus and others falsely teach, is not to believe
in our own pre-conceptions and vain traditions but rather, the idea is to "see" better, to understand better what is actually true about God and everything else that matters in life. Like Jesus
strongly implies, only the truth will make us free. Wisdom is understanding correctly and applying correctly what matters in life, rather than just learning a bunch of disconnected facts and
the common (often wrongly) held beliefs of our scientists, educators, political and religious leaders.
Who's Gonna Care About Me According to various advocate and media sources,
approximately one in fifty American children, 1.5 million, experience homelessness every year. According to Stand Up for Kids, thirteen children
die on American streets every day. According to Nashville Metro School district statistics, in 2019 there are nearly 4,000 homeless children in metro Nashville
schools. This does not include thousands of homeless children who are too young or who otherwise don't attend school. There are an estimated 25,000 total homeless
citizens living in this same area, with a growing number of entire homeless families in particular. The number one reason people are homeless in Nashville is the same
reason why so many Americans are homeless throughout our nation. Wages for large numbers of American workers are far to low compared to the rising cost of
housing and other basic necessities.
